HOPE FOR THE HOMELESS,
AT A GLANCE
A Bit of Background
Here at HOPE for the Homeless (H4H), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2010, we are determined to make an impact to the homeless population. The core of our efforts is to bring food, clothing and basic necessities to the homeless in downtown Miami. Through this weekly support we hope to guide them towards a complete recovery off the streets and become self supporting.
OUR STORY
Working Towards a Better Tomorrow
Hope for the Homeless, Inc., founded in 2010 by Hector L. Gonzalez, emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. He began with the concept of preparing sandwiches to feed the homeless and clothe them. Inspiring others, volunteers have joined H4H at St. Agatha Church, where 700 sandwiches are prepared for delivery in Downtown Miami every week. Contact us to learn more and get involved.
